Before booking, check our sailing schedule for the next ocean cargo departure date and estimated arrival at the port of Dakar or Banjul. Sailings are announced monthly — plan your shipment around the deadline to avoid missing the container.
Book online through our portal or call us directly. During booking, select a pickup date if you are located along our pickup route. You can also choose to drop off your cargo at our warehouse or mail it to our address.
Use your name followed by "c/o Saloum Logistics LLC" on the address label. This tells us the package belongs to your account when it arrives at our warehouse.
Use the same address above as your shipping address when shopping on Amazon, Walmart, Shein, or any US retailer. Add your name + "c/o Saloum Logistics LLC" in the name field — your goods will arrive at our warehouse ready to consolidate.
Call before you ship. Please contact us at (929) 650-9538 or email to confirm your shipment before mailing anything to our warehouse. This ensures we are expecting your package and can process it without delay.
Pack your items securely and label each box clearly with your name, phone number, and destination. Do not overload or overpack — this can cause damage during transit. You are responsible for the packaging of your shipment. Follow our packing tips for best results.
Bring your cargo to our Bronx, NY warehouse during business hours (7 days a week, 9AM–7PM), or schedule a pickup along our route during booking. Once we receive your shipment, it is checked in, weighed, and stored securely in our warehouse until loading day.
Loading takes place 7 to 10 days prior to the departure date. Your cargo is professionally consolidated into the container, which is then delivered to the port to await the vessel. Once your shipment departs, you will receive automatic email notifications at every step of the journey. You can also track your shipment online at any time.
Upon arrival at the Port of Dakar or Port of Banjul, please allow up to 5 business days for our team to complete the customs clearance process. Our licensed brokers handle all documentation, port fees, and duties on your behalf.
Once your shipment is released from customs, our local team in Dakar or Banjul will contact your designated receiver directly to arrange either warehouse pickup or door-to-door delivery to their home or business address. You'll receive a final delivery confirmation with photo proof.
